It might not feel like it--but spring is on the horizon!
While others may look for flowers pushing up through the soil or magnolia buds weighing down branches, for me the true herald of spring is the Shamrock Shuffle! This Chicago tradition marks the beginning of the outdoor running season and for runners it is a time to reflect on personal fitness and wellness. It is also a chance to shake off the cobwebs and remind our bodies and minds about the benefits
of movement and fresh air.
Whether you are running enthusiast or not--spring is a time to take stock, review and re-evaluate your place in the universe...or at least an opportunity to look at your place in this moment in time. How are you doing on your journey to mindfulness and wholeness? What adjustments need to be made? Which items in our toolbox need to be cleaned up, thrown out or replaced? Sometimes it can feel like a chore,
but truly it is an opportunity for renewal.
Personally, I was able to have a take stock moment when I was interviewed by Authority Magazine--the interview was detailed and in-depth and was a real opportunity for me to give more thought to some past experiences. It was a truly enlightening experience. (Red the full article below.)
I have been working on a wonderful project with the Mindfulness in Law Society (MILS) called Mindfulness Mondays. On March 14 and April 11, at 2 p.m. CST, I will be leading free, 30-minute, guided mediation via zoom. (Get the link/passcode below.) I hope you will join me. MILS hosts this guided mediation every Monday & Wednesday, so even if you cannot attend my sessions--it is worth logging in on any Monday or
Wednesday!
Thank you for supporting me and being part of my community. I hope you find something useful and helpful here. Now go shake off the cobwebs!
